Compassion Not Cruelty is a growing movement of organized Christians committed to modeling and mobilizing the compassion of Jesus of Nazareth practiced and taught.
Values
We value compassion by affirming the dignity of every human being, treating everyone with decency, and honoring our nation's democratic principles, institutions, and the rule of law. Recognizing our shared humanity, we are grounded in the nonviolent power of Christ's love as we work for the common good. In a nation where government policy promotes cruelty, violence, hatred, and massive wealth for a few, our movement stands as a counterforce–grounded in compassion, justice, and inclusion.
